24 -KALILA FAMBRO -JUNIOR -FORWARD

2019-20 OUTLOOK—In her second season on varsity, Kalila is expected to bring support minutes to the forward positions.  An intelligent, athletic hard worker with loads of potential, she has an exciting future as an integral part of the Lady Dragon program.

2018-19 (SOPHOMORE)—Academic All-District...came on strong in District 5-6A play, grabbing 34 of her 57 rebounds in league play...excelled in a key 49-46 win over Byron Nelson, scoring 6 points and grabbing 8 rebounds, 5 on the offensive end, clinching the win with two clutch free throws in the final moment of the game...6 rebounds vs Fossil Ridge and 5 rebounds vs Lake Worth and HSAA.

• Favorite sports team ever is Pro Skills Basketball—“The culture was great and it had a family environment.”

• Math is her favorite subject—“I like numbers and solving real life problems.”

• Favorite teacher ever was Sonora Lilly, 9th grade Spanish at CHS

• Interested in interior design and would like to attend NYU and become an interior designer or an architect.

• Plays the ukelele and likes hanging out with her family.

• Favorite athlete is WNBA Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson “because she is young and plays hard.”

• Favorite entertainers are Beyoncé and Alessia Cara.

• Father, Kenneth Fambro, was an All American hurdler at the University of Alabama
• Mother, Irini Fambro, ran track in high school

• Younger brother, Kenneth, plays golf

• Kalila has two dogs, has been to Egypt and Spain, and her favorite season is Christmas.
