About Us

ABOUT US NPSAA is a federation of sport organizations and academic institutions who are committed to providing student athletes a comprehensive basketball experience. The membership of the association is made up of athletes, coaches, officials, schools, clubs, camps, basketball organizations, groups, leagues and basketball supporters.

COMPETITION National Prep School Athletic Association consists of Canadian and American prep schools, academies and private schools. As Canadian basketball has recently made large gains at the youth level, much of the new found success is coming at the cost of the domestic product. For the past decades, Canadian coaches, educators, parents and fans of amateur basketball have watched hundreds of our best student-athletes flood down south to American prep schools.

The main cause behind this rapid exodus is simple – players believe they can receive better opportunities in the U.S. The NPSAA objective is to change that for all athletes!
